Regional Tournament Practice Round: Spring in our Step and a Lesson in Alligator Safety

It is a very peaceful thing playing a practice round with Bear.  He knows what he is doing.  He is not demanding of my time or energy.  He gets out there and gets things done.

We tee’d off later in the afternoon – less busy, 2 ball (Bear and a 14 year old) and quick moving.  Plenty of time to practice on the greens without pressure.  The weather pleasantly Spring-like, probably a week before the bugs become unbearable.

Gosh Darn It !  Spoke way too soon!  Made the turn and stuck behind a 7 year old playing 5 shots off  the tee……….. Not sure how they got between us and the group in front of us.

With 2 big hitters bearing down on them they graciously suggested we play through, and we gratefully accepted.

Max took Rob out for the practice round (the boys played different courses) and made notes for me on the Yardage book. Invaluable !!

About Alligators on the golf course – don’t be a hero !!!
