Rob hit one fairway and lots of trees and bunkers. He only hit about four good shots the whole round. Ground out a 50.
So. It’s not me …….
As the process unfolds over the years I realize that I am not a liability as long as I know where I fit in the scenario (I carry the bag, smile, detach when things go awry). Max is not a miracle maker (although his green reading can be spectacular).
It really shouldn’t matter who is on the bag. It’s Rob’s round. The liabilities and miracles are of his own making. He’s got the shots. He’s got a pretty good attitude. He is gaining experience. These trees and bunkers are probably playing more of an important role in creating the man that Rob will be come than anything else at this point.
